A spot of baking.

I have had fruit soaking for just over a year now and I have a little bit that has been soaking for two years. Today I decided to bake a cake using this fruit based on a recipe of my father's. Every year before Christmas I bake a cake for my sister and one to share with my neighbours and colleagues at work. This year I was too tired to get into the spirit of things and then I had a migraine for 3 days. Today , however, I felt like experimenting and so I did! Two and a half hours later a sprinkling of red wine et voila!
