Out and about again without my camera
Instead of writing on my blog I have been writing on Facebook and I have been told off by my daughter. I have been out and about again but without my camera and I really need to start posting with pictures. The blogs that I love the most are the ones with beautiful pictures. I hope to be able to go around in the next few weeks and let you into a little of the world that I am creating for myself.
I have met two more lovely women, both at the Pump House Gallery in Battersea Park. The first is Dawna who was running a crochet workshop.
I spent a wonderful afternoon re-learning how to crochet. Dawna is a very talented craftswoman and she creates the most amazing work.
The second is Liz Cooper who curated the current exhibition 'Beauty is the first test'. She is also a very vibrant energetic ambassador for crafts. She curates a number of exhibitions around the country at various times of the year. I attended her talk' the craft artists market place' which was a whirlwind tour around marketing, pricing and selling craft.
I learnt a great deal and it made me think. Liz was also generous with her advice and I enjoyed the evening immensly.
A Bientot.
